Payment Schedule

For editing jobs, half of the total fee is due up front before the work commences. The balance is due on completion of the job before we return the manuscript to you. If you would like to review the first half of the editing work before paying the balance due, arrangements can be made.

For book management jobs, proofreading fees are due up front; book printing fees are due when the post script files are sent to the printer, as this is when the printer will require payment.

For book publishing jobs, all fees are due up front.

Payment Methods

We accept personal checks, certified checks, and money orders (all must be in U.S. dollars). If you send a personal check, we will not begin work on the project until the check has cleared the banking system.

We accept Visa and MasterCard payments as well as bank transfers through PayPal credit/debit card processing. PayPal is free (to the consumer) and easy to use. It is also secure. The transaction is conducted strictly between you and PayPal. We do not have access to your credit/debit card information or other confidential information.

We welcome international clients and accept payment in all the currencies that PayPal accepts. If you are paying in a currency other than U.S. dollars, PayPal will do the conversion for you.

Arrangements can be made to work on your manuscript in stages if you would prefer not to submit a large project all at once. We offer a five-percent discount for paying your entire invoice at the time you engage our services. Seniors, full-time students and non-profit organizations will also receive a five-percent discount.

We look forward to working with you to help you make your publishing goals a reality. Our desire is to be a partner in your success.

Disclaimer

We will do our best to help you achieve your publishing goals. We will use our writing, editing and publishing experience, skills and expertise to the very best of our ability to help make your book or document the very best it can be. We will work hard to ensure your satisfaction with the finished product. But, no reputable editor will guarantee that his or her services will result in acceptance of your book by an agent or a publisher, let alone it becoming a bestseller.

There are too many variables outside an editor’s control. The preferences of agents, the agendas of publishers, and the tastes of booksellers, as well as the impact of mergers and acquisitions, make any guarantees impossible. With that said, however, the services of a professional editor can make the difference between a mediocre and a first-rate manuscript or between acceptance and rejection of your book. We want you to have a satisfying and delightful experience working with us and we will do everything we can to make that happen.
